Gender and Climate Change

The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its fifty-ninth session, having considered the report by the secretariat on the joint dialogue on advancing the leadership and highlighting the solutions of women from local communities and Indigenous women in climate policy and action,the annual report by the secretariat on gender composition,the synthesis report by the secretariat on progress in integrating a gender perspective into UNFCCC constituted body processes3 and the report by the secretariat on the dialogue among the Chairs of constituted bodies on progress in integrating a gender perspective into their processes,recommended a draft decision for consideration and adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its twenty-eighth session.
