We recognize the urgency and importance of addressing this issue comprehensively, and as member organizations of the BreakFree Equity Network,
we commit ourselves to working together to influence policy decisions and create a safer, more equitable environment for all.

We are the citizens of the world. We believe that a better world is possible, that global change begins at home.
Unity in Purpose: Member organizations join forces under the BreakFree Equity Network with the shared goal of combating gender-based violence in Sri Lanka.
Inclusive Approach: Engagement of diverse sectors of society, including NGOs, government bodies, businesses, educational institutions, and community leaders, is emphasized.
Policy Influence: Active engagement with policy decision-makers to effect positive change and implement measures that address the root causes of gender-based violence.
Collaborative Programs: Development and implementation of joint initiatives, awareness campaigns, and educational programs promoting gender equality and preventing gender-based violence.
